As President of the Law Commission of Canada, I am pleased to welcome you to the Commission's new web site and to share the work that is being accomplished with you. Canadians are seeking ways to gain better input into the law reform process, and to participate in ground-up law reform initiatives. The Commission recognizes its obligation to undertake consultations that are responsive to the socio-economic, cultural and regional diversity of the Canadian population. Our aim is to continue to seek your participation and contribution, in the hope that we can work towards better law reform. This new web site is just one of the undertakings by the Commission to facilitate this process. I trust you will find the site easy to navigate and more interactive, and I invite you to share your comments with us.
