Yellowhead County is hosting a "Livestock Emergency Response Planning" seminar on Thursday of next week, getting underway at 12:30 p.m. at the Carrot Creek Community Hall. Topics to be covered include: stressed animal handling and behavior, preparedness for emergencies, prevention, proper response procedures, handler safety, rescue techniques and euthanasia.
