Today is the deadline to register for Market Masters—Marketing Options in a Changing Environment, an information session to assist in making good marketing decisions this fall. The session takes place Saturday morning at the Wainwright Communiplex. To register call the Wainwright Municipal Office at 780-842-4454.
There is one Alberta Beef Producers fall meeting tonight. It’s at 7 p.m. at the Cochrane Ranch House. There are three meetings tomorrow—7:30 p.m. at the Pincher Creek Livestock Auction, 7 p.m. at the Bigstone Hall, and a 7 p.m. meeting at the Beaver Meadows Community Hall at Niton Junction. This week-end it’s the Step Up—The Authentic Leader workshop in Red Deer, put on by the Future Alberta Business Builders, an organization designed to support young adults intent on staking out a claim in the agriculture industry. For information, go to www.fabb.ca.
Also this week-end, on Saturday, the Alberta Sheep and Wool Commission kicks off its zone meetings, with a meeting at Sven Eriksen’s in Lethbridge, getting underway with lunch at noon, followed by the meeting at 1 p.m.
