Southern Alberta Sustainability Strategy
The first phase of a regional strategy for Southern Alberta will begin
in 2002/03. The strategy will identify key issues that need to be
addressed to ensure sustainable development occurs. The strategy will
consider all of Southern Alberta over the next 50 years. Southern
Albertans will help develop a vision of the future that provides for
the social, economic and environmental benefits that we want to sustain.
They will also create a timeline to address issues and a plan to follow.
