Terms of Reference

The Agenda and Priorities Committee provides direction in the development of the strategic agenda for the government.

It assists in policy development by reviewing significant changes in policy in the form of a Minister’s Report, Ministerial Order, Regulation Change, or Order-in-Council and referring these matters to Standing Policy Committees of Cabinet.

It reviews and recommends to Cabinet all fiscal issues that arise outside of the Treasury Board process.

It reviews all issues of a strategic or high profile nature including legislation.

It reviews strategy on major communications issues.
