Terms of Reference

The Committee will

• review and make recommendations on policies, programs and legislation,
• hear public and private submissions pertaining to infrastructure, transportation, municipal affairs and agriculture,
• monitor existing programs, services and legislation, and
• consider the budgetary implications of each proposal as well as implementation and communications strategies.

The Committee will also review the current budgets of

• Infrastructure and Transportation,
• Municipal Affairs, and
• Agriculture, Food and Rural Development

annually in order that Committee members have the opportunity to provide comments and make recommendations for consideration by the Ministers in preparation of the upcoming annual budget and three-year business plans.
