Funding provided to buy supplies for influenza pandemic
Alberta’s nine health regions will receive $30 million to buy medical equipment and supplies that will be used to respond to an influenza pandemic.

More than $30 million in funding will put children and youth on a path to lifelong health. The funding will provide newborn screening programs and programs to promote healthy weights, as well as an award for healthy school communities.
