Schools for Tomorrow recommendations released
A new five-year Schools for Tomorrow plan focuses on the province’s current and future need for new schools, modernization of existing schools and steel-framed modular classrooms. The plan recommends $3.17 billion in funding over the next five years.

A new provincial contest called Stand Up and Stop Bullying is inviting Alberta teens to share what they think bullying is and what can be done to stop it.

More than $300 million provided for new schools
An additional $303.3 million in funding will build 15 new schools and modernize six existing schools over the next four years. The funding will also be used to purchase 130 new modular classrooms in this fiscal year.
