Visitor Information Centres

Washrooms, telephones, and picnic areas are available at each centre—just look for the distinctive logo. As well as the major centres listed below, there are more than 100 municipal and community Visitor Information Centres that offer detailed travel information specific to their areas. Operating hours at these hubs vary and are often seasonal.

Crowsnest Pass: South side of Hwy. 3, 8 kms west of Coleman and 6 kms from B.C./AB border. Open mid-May to Labour Day Weekend.
Grande Prairie: Southeast side of Highway 43 at the Junction of 106 Street. Open mid-May to Labour Day Weekend.
Field: South side of Hwy. 1 at the entrance to Field, B.C. Open mid-May to Thanksgiving Weekend.
Hinton: South side of Hwy. 16 in the commercial area. Open mid-May to Thanksgiving Weekend.
Lloydminster: North side of Hwy. 16, 1 km east of Lloydminster. Open mid-May to Labour Day Weekend.
Milk River: East side of Hwy. 4, south of Milk River. Open mid-May to Thanksgiving Weekend.
Oyen: Located at the intersection of Hwy. 9 and Hwy. 41, north of Oyen. Open mid-May to Labour Day Weekend.
Walsh: North side of Hwy. 1, 64 kms east of Medicine Hat and 3 kms west of SK/AB border. Open mid-May to September.
West Glacier: West side of the junction of Hwy. 2 and Going-To-The-Sun Road (Logan Pass). Open mid-May to September.
