Information sessions took place in the Fall of 2005.
The Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission (AADAC), on behalf of the Government of Alberta, conducted information sessions to inform the public about the Smoke-Free Places Act. These sessions were held in 9 communities across Alberta and were intended to inform participants about the Smoke-Free Places Act including its regulations and give business owners and community members an opportunity to discuss the Act and have their questions answered. The locations and schedule for the information sessions were as follows:
