Quality assurance committees
1 The following are
designated as quality assurance committees for the purposes of section 9 of the
Alberta Evidence Act:
(a) the Committee on Reproductive Care
established by the Alberta Medical Association (C.M.A. Alberta Division);
(b) the Physicians Performance Committee
established by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta;
(c) the Perinatal Morbidity Review Committee
established by the Northern and Central Alberta Perinatal Program Advisory
Committee;
(d) the Ambulance Medical Review Committee
established by Ministerial Order under section 7 of the Government
Organization Act.
Expiry
2 For the purpose
of ensuring that this Regulation is reviewed for ongoing relevancy and
necessity, with the option that it may be repassed in its present or an amended
form following a review, this Regulation expires on August 1, 2012.
Repeal
3 The Medical
Committee Regulation (AR 370/85) is repealed.
