About Seniors Canada On-line

Canadians have said they want one-stop access to Government services, and the Government of Canada is committed to meeting this need. Government of Canada departments and agencies are grouping their electronic information and services according to topic or target audience. They are developing Internet sites that give Canadians access to this information.

Seniors Canada On-line is the Government's response to seniors' request for easy electronic access to seniors-related services. The site offers:

  • Access to a wide range of information for seniors from one site
  • Various options for finding this information
  • Offerings and services from multiple government departments

Seniors Canada On-line is designed for older adults (age 55 plus), their families, caregivers, and supporting service organizations. It offers key links to seniors-related information from Government of Canada, Provincial and Territorial Web sites.

Veterans Affairs Canada is leading the development of Seniors Canada On-line, in partnership with other Government of Canada departments that provide services to seniors. Founding partners include:

  • Canada Customs and Revenue Agency
  • Health Canada
  • Human Resources Development Canada
  • Veterans Affairs Canada
