Search Help

The CMHC Web site search is a keyword search, enabling the return of targeted search results for a particular keyword or keyword phrase that is entered.

The search feature is not case sensitive. Using all upper case letters (e.g. CMHC), all lower case (cmhc) or mixed case (Cmhc) will bring forward the same results.

In addition to searching CMHC’s Web site, the CMHC Web site search will also retrieve free and priced publications from the CMHC Order Desk. Use the following legend as your guide to your search results:

HINT: If you are unable to find what you are looking for, double check your search query – a typo or misspelling will result in poor search results.

Selecting "Match exact phrase" will return search results for which your search phrase has been specified as a keyword. For example, a search phrase may be "residential home construction", so all documents for which this exact phrase has been specified as a keyword, will be returned in the search results. Documents with the keywords: home construction or residential home will not be returned in the results.

Accents
If a word you seek has an accent, you must type in the accent for the search to be successful.
