PANDEMIC INFLUENZA

When to go to the doctor

See a doctor or go to an emergency centre right away if you have a serious symptom. For example:
  • problems breathing
  • pain in your chest
  • a high fever that does not get better after 3 or 4 days

Some people should always see their doctor if they get the flu. For example: a person with heart or lung disease.

If you do not know what to do, talk to a nurse at Health Link Alberta.
