Beef Congress in the Peace

 The Peace Country Beef Congress is being held in High Prairie on January 12 and 13, 2007. This year, as well as trace booths and the livestock show, congress events include a new carcass evaluation class. Also, first prize for the commercial pen of three heifers from participating auctions is $1,500 of commission free sales of the winning participant’s cattle for one year. Sponsors of this prize are: Nilsson Brothers, Clyde; Triple J Auction, Westlock; Grande Prairie Auction; and, VJV Auction Mart, Ponoka.
