| | The Woodlot Extension Program of Alberta is holding two workshops in the Peace area:
- August 28, 2006 - Valleyview, (M.D. of Greenview Field Services Office)
Topics covered will include: tree crops, agroforestry, riparian management, shelterbelts, sawmilling, woodlot management planning.

- Thursday, August 31, 2006 - Manning, (NPARA office)
The workshop will include a tour of the Murdoch Lake demonstration site (established 2002), where forages have been combined with tree farming, and Cypress Hill Woodlot Demo.

- September 9, 2006 - Elkwater (Community Hall)
