Virtual Scholar in Residence Program

2003 Virtual Scholar In Residence Program

The Law Commission of Canada is pleased to announce that Professor Michael Smith from the Department of Sociology at McGill University and Professor Leah Vosko from the Department of Political Science at York University have been selected to be Virtual Scholars in Residence. The Virtual Scholar in Residence program is a jointly funded initiative with the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council that provides funding to scholars to assist the Law Commission in advancing its research initiatives. Professors Smith and Vosko will be contributing their considerable knowledge and expertise to the Law Commission's project on Work and Economic Security.
