Interest rates set for Alberta Savings Certificates

Edmonton... Alberta Savings Certificates' rates have been set for the interest period June 1, 2002 to November 30, 2002.

Rates for the redeemable certificates are:

• 1997 floating rate certificates will pay 2.50 per cent
• 1996 floating rate certificates will pay 2.50 per cent.
