Mission & Objectives
CCG’s CRIA office maintains and builds new relationships with international organizations and associations. CRIA provides a strategic focal point to manage and advance
Canadian and Coast Guard global objectives. CRIA’s mission is to plan and
co-ordinate the CCG’s international activities and commitments, including the
following:
- Providing single-window service and assistance to
international organizations, countries and maritime safety agencies
- Promoting awareness of CCG international initiatives
and achievements
- Coordinating and representing CCG at international
meetings and special events
- Providing advice and support to CCG management on
international initiatives
- Developing international priorities and plans
- Hosting and arranging visits by foreign officials and
delegations
- Managing CCG international travel
- Liaising with government departments on international
initiatives and activities
