Livestock Emergency Response Planning

 Designed for anyone who owns livestock, the Livestock Emergency Response Planning workshop is being held at the Carrot Creek Community Hall on November 30, 2006.

Topics being covered include:

  • stressed animal handling and behavior
  • preparedness for emergencies
  • prevention
  • proper response procedures
  • handler safety
  • rescue techniques
  • euthanasia
Pre-registeration before November 27, 2006, is required. When registering, please indicate what animals you are most interested in (horses, cattle, sheep, elk, buffalo or pigs).
