Getting There
The Comox Valley is accessible by land, sea or air. Regular ferry service links the B.C. Mainland and Washington State to Vancouver Island. Pacific Coastal Airlines, Air Canada (Air BC) and West Jet fly directly from major air hubs on the mainland to the Comox Valley Terminal located at 19 Wing's airfield.

Weather
The weather is probably one of the main reasons people enjoy their stay in Comox. Where else can you ski and play a round of golf on the same day without leaving the area? Mean temperatures are above the freezing mark in winter while summer highs generally average in the low twenties C.
