Under the first phase of the VSI there was an Expert’s Group on Nonprofit Law and Directors’ Liability. Part of their mandate was to provide advice to Industry Canada on issues related the liability of non-profit directors and the review and reform of the Canada Corporations Act Part II. The review and reform of the Act is not yet completed.
