Notice concerning searches of the Public Registry

Please take note that on April 5, 2006 the Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists proceeded with the integration of the new and old data banks which, since June 2005, jointly constituted the Public Registry of Lobbyists.

The creation of two distinct data banks (one prior and one after January 20, 2005) was a necessary transitional measure due to the significant changes in disclosure requirements resulting from the modifications to the Act which came into force on June 20, 2005. Until the two data banks became integrated, it was necessary to search each data bank separately in order to make a complete search of the Registry. From now on, only one query is necessary to search the whole Registry of Lobbyists.

• Public Registry
  
  After selecting the link above, click on the "Search and Browse Public Registry" link. The Public Registry can be searched using keywords, the name of the lobbyist, the name of the firm, company or organization, the subject matter, the type of lobbyist or as a function of a specific time period.
• Reports from the Public Registry
  
  Reports can be generated from the Public Registry from a list of pre-defined reports of all lobbyists, government departments or agencies, and by geographic location.
• Recent Registrations
  
  List of the new registrations, amendments and terminations processed within the past 30 days.
