Trade Team Canada -- Cultural Goods and Services

Canada's innovative arts and cultural products and services help to express our diversity, values and identity. They are a vibrant element of Canada's economy - worth almost $5 billion per year in exports of products and services.

Trade Team Canada - Cultural Goods and Services (TTC-CGS) is the cultural sector's vehicle for working with the Department of Canadian Heritage and the rest of the Government of Canada on export preparedness and international business development issues. It enables people, businesses and organizations in culture's private, public and non-profit sectors to help shape government priorities and actions.

TTC-CGS builds on the work of the former Cultural Trade Advisory Board (CTAB) and the CTAB working groups that analyzed the international business environment facing the cultural sector. Members of TTC-CGS and its working groups thus take on a valuable but challenging set of responsibilities. They are expected to actively seek out the views of people in their part of the cultural sector and to communicate the work of TTC-CGS.

For more information about TTC-CGS, call the Trade and Investment Development Directorate of the Department of Canadian Heritage at 1-866-999-7233 (toll free) or e-mail TTC-CGS at .

For more information on how to become a member of TTC-CGS, please e-mail us at or contact your sector representative on the TTC-CGS Executive Board.
