Recommended/Required Software

Recommended Software

The Spectrum Direct site recommends the use of the 128-bit version of Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer. These versions will ensure that you can use all of the features of this site at the highest level of security for making invoice payments, viewing your account information or submitting microwave application data.

We also recommend the use of Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing downloaded PDF microwave applications, invoice statements, and licence information reports.

Required Software

Licence Applications

The on-line Microwave Application or Land Mobile Application forms require the use of Netscape Navigator 4.0 or greater, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater. JavaScript must be enabled.

If you want to view or print PDF versions of your application components, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader 2.0 or greater.

Invoice Payment and Web Profile

The on-line Invoice Payment can be used with most web browsers. However, we strongly recommend that you use the latest version 128-bit version of your browser. This will provide you with the maximum level of security. Recommended browsers include Netscape Navigator 4.75 or Internet Explorer 5.5 with the High Encryption Pack.

Radio Frequency (TAFL) Search and Account Information

The Radio Frequency (TAFL) Search tools can be used with most web browsers. These include Netscape 1.0 or greater, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 1.0 or greater.
