About h2EA
Canada's long-term objective to maintain its position as
a world-leader in the evolution of a hydrogen economy is in
its very early stage of being realized.
As one of the initial
steps towards this objective, Technology Partnerships Canada,
a Special Operating Agency of Industry Canada, is
implementing and delivering the h2 Early Adopters
(h2EA) program designed to demonstrate new hydrogen
technology concepts. This new program, launched in October
2003, is separate and distinct from the Technology
Partnerships Canada research and development program.
The h2EA program will lead efforts to demonstrate new
concepts, such as "hydrogen highways" and
"hydrogen villages".
