Balancing Work & Personal Lives

At CMHC, we strongly believe that employees must have real support and opportunities to balance their professional and personal lives.

Here are some of the concrete things we do for you:

  • Five days of leave each year for family-related responsibilities. Also, parental leave when a new child arrives.

  • Employees can stay healthy and active through CMHC's Recreation Club activities and Active Living Program.

  • Our employees have access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which is a voluntary counselling service provided by outside professionals. It's paid for by CMHC and is strictly confidential.

  • Family Care Assistance offers access to information, resources and support about any aspect of family care, from young children to dependents with disabilities and aging relatives.

  • Alternate work arrangements allow employees to work a flexible schedule.
