Hélène Lefebvre Appointed to the Standards Council of CanadaOTTAWA, November 2, 2006 — The Honourable Maxime Bernier, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), today appointed Ms. Hélène Lefebvre as a member of the Council.
"I am pleased to welcome Ms. Lefebvre to the SCC," said Minister Bernier. "Her knowledge of the engineering profession will benefit members of the Council as they explore new ways to create efficient and effective standardization in Canada."
Hélène Lefebvre has been a reservoir engineer at Anadarko Canada Corporation since 2001. Prior to this she worked as an engineer with NAL Resources Limited and Numac. The work she has been involved with spans from the evaluation of drilling locations and field development strategies to the evaluation of reservoir performance, gas properties and economic evaluations of potential projects.
The Standards Council of Canada is a Crown corporation with the mandate to promote efficient and effective standardization in Canada.
