WELCOME TO THE MINERAL, OIL AND GAS REVENUE BRANCH
The Mineral,
Oil and Gas Revenue Branch is responsible for the effective financial
management and administration of the Mineral Tax Act, the Mineral
Land Tax Act, the Petroleum and Natural Gas Royalty and Freehold
Production Tax Regulation, the Oil and Gas Commission Levy, and
the Mine Health and Safety Inspection Fee.
The Branch's
mandate is to calculate, verify, collect and report the Crown
Royalties and freehold production taxes payable by the mining
and petroleum industries. The branch provides current and historical
information on these revenues, and responds to general enquiries
related to them.
