Marine Waste Reception Facilities Web Application

Transport Canada, in order to meet its international commitments to the International Maritime Organization, is creating a national database on the Web that will provide current relevant information on the availability of marine waste reception facilities in Canada.

Once complete, stakeholders will be able to search the database using a variety of criteria, such as type of waste, location, contact details, and site name. The types of waste are as follows: oily, noxious, garbage, sewage, exhaust and ozone-depleting gases.

Waste Reception Facilities representatives are asked to sign on to the database and provide the information regarding their company.

Visit the Marine Waste Reception Facilities Web application.
