Introduction
This Help file is provided to assist in conducting searches on this database.
It is divided into the following sections:
Contents of the database
The Database includes all industrial designs which were registered
as of June 15, 2002, pursuant to the Industrial
Design Act. It does not provide the images of assignment
documents and pre-2002 registration information. You may obtain
copies of these documents at the Client Service Centre, or
contact us. Electronic capture
of pre-2002 registrations is underway; these documents will be
added as they become available.
Updates
The database is updated every Thursday.
Other information sources
Additional information is available on the Industrial
Designs main page, in particular the Guide to
Industrial Designs and the Industrial
Design Act.
