Update of your new Web access to Canadian industrial designs!

All designs registered as of June 15, 2002, (approximately 10 000) are now available on the Web. We are currently completing the electronic back capture of the data from the beginnings of industrial designs, that is from December 1861 to June 15, 2002. The back capture should be completed in Fall 2006.

This on-line database will contain the most up-to-date information on all fields related to industrial designs.

Your new web access to Canadian industrial designs!

The Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) is pleased to announce the launch of the new Canadian Industrial Designs Database. Canadian industrial designs are now available on the web. This initiative responds to clients' feedback for better online service and easier access to industrial designs. The initial phase includes approximately 10 000 designs registered as of June 15, 2002. New registrations will be added on a weekly basis. CIPO is currently in the process of completing the electronic back capture of the designs registered prior to this date and they will be added in Spring 2006.
