Why Register

The Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) is a sub site of the Strategis Web site of Industry Canada. There are several on-line forms on the CIPO site which allow you to file applications and related correspondence for the protection of intellectual property rights. The information is encrypted before it is sent to the office.

You must create a username and password if you intend to use these on-line forms. You will be required to sign in or log on to the Strategis secure server before you can access any of our secure on-line forms.
