Arrival And Check-In
- Designated disabled person parking spots are at close proximity to the Airport Terminal
Building in both the short-term and long-term parking lots.
- Curb cuts make all crosswalks and sidewalks wheelchair accessible.
- All entrances to the Airport Terminal Building are equipped with automatic sliding doors.
Personal Assistance
- The Airport Terminal Building has Airport Ambassadors who are easily identified by a distinctive red jacket or vest and are available to
assist passengers throughout the terminal, to answer
questions and provide directions.
- Airport Ambassadors will also often provide assistance to passengers using a wheelchair to get to
the gate when an airline agent is not available.
TTY Phones
- The Airport Terminal Building is equipped with two TTY phones. One is located in the Arrivals
area and the other in the Departures Lounge (post Security).
Wayfinding
- Directional signage is provided in large black lettering on a white background.
- Braille signage is located at washroom entrances.
Relieving Areas For Service Animals
- There is a grassy “pet rest” area located outside the Arrivals
doors.
Washrooms
- Wheelchair accessible washrooms are located throughout the Airport Terminal
Building.
- There are also three special needs washrooms to accommodate
passengers who require the assistance of a family member or traveling
companion. Two are located in the main concourse and the other in the Departures Lounge (post Security).

Other Accessibility Features
- An elevator provides access to the second level observation

passengers with disabilities to bypass the corridor ramp.
