This is a brand new Culture.ca

Originally branded as Canada’s cultural gateway, Culture.ca was launched in November 2003. Since then, we have welcomed millions of online visitors and our unique collection has grown to more than 16,000 quality Canadian cultural Web sites.

Still, Culture.ca is a work-in-progress. Since 2003, the landscape of the Web has evolved to become a more interactive and engaging medium. We have learned a lot from our users comments, we have consulted our partners and we took a closer look at our site statistics. And in November 2006, we delivered this new and improved Culture.ca.

Culture.ca, Canada’s cultural gateway is for everyone who wants to explore, find, and share the best of Canada’s cultural and creative life.

This latest version of Culture.ca has more than a new look, it offers you more content organized under new subject categories that include: Arts, Heritage, Nature, Recreation, Society and Tourism.

We’re more current with timely cultural articles updated regularly and daily cultural news. The site is also more interactive with popular links as chosen by you, cultural polls and the best of Canada’s cultural blogs.

And that’s not all. You will notice constant improvements as you regularly visit Culture.ca.
