Individuals who dedicate their time and expertise to support committee work are of vital importance to the National Standards System (NSS). The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) believes in recognizing the commitment of these individuals and the organizations that contribute to the NSS.

The SCC honours the notable achievements of individuals through a series of awards presented to recipients at a special ceremony.

The Corporate Commitment Award recognizes the contribution of organizations.

The 2006 SCC Awards will be held in Ottawa on September 13, 2006.

The SCC honoured the 2004 award recipients at a ceremony in Calgary, Alberta.
