Dreamcatcher 2006

The Dreamcatcher Aboriginal Youth conference is now accepting "applications to present" for Dreamcatcher 2006.

We have an exciting year planned with some interested changes in events. All sessions will be 1.25 hours in length. Spacing is limited,
with preference being given to sessions that include opportunity for interaction for the youth, so apply early.

Included is a presenters application in case you didn't receive one in the mail. If you have any questions regarding the conference I can be reached at 497-4699. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

TheCanadian Aboriginal Writing Challenge provides an opportunity for Aboriginal youth across the country to have their voices heard. OTTAWA (March 17, 2006) - On Wednesday, March 15th, 2006, at a meeting in Winnipeg, the Métis National Council (MNC) Board of Governors passed a motion to reschedule the election for National President that had been previously called for April 2nd, 2006. Consistent with the MNC Secretariat's bylaws, the election for National President will now be held in the fall of 2006. Full story...
