Junior Canadian Rangers - Training

The Junior Canadian Ranger Programme offers a unique approach to training in that the majority of lessons are flexible or optional rather than mandatory, as is the norm with most other youth progams.

This flexibility results in the best possible training and most relevant lessons being offered to all Junior Canadian Rangers regardless of where they live or their ethnic background.
* The actual breakdown of the Junior Canadian Ranger Programme is 60% at the community’s discretion, and 40% (the Ranger Skills component) is directed by the Canadian Forces.
