Shell confirmed its Arctic-class drilling unit, the Kulluk, has been safely towed to a safe harbour on Kodiak Island in the Gulf of Alaska, where it will undergo a thorough safety assessment before resuming its journey to its winter harbour for repairs and maintenance.

Update on Shell Retail Debit Pay Overcharges and Customer Refunds

Despite our best efforts last week, Shell was unable ensure refunds were processed by end of Friday to all customers overcharged Nov. 29 and 30 at some pay-at-pump machines. The majority of customers were refunded last week and we received confirmation late this afternoon that most of the remaining customers will be refunded by the end of today.

Shell awards environmental projects close to $1 million

Shell’s FuellingChange™ programme recently made funding awards of close to $1 million to support over 50 environmental projects across Canada. The winning projects range from building an industrial composting system to reducing waste entering landfills in Alberta ,to the delivery of water management and watershed educational programming to over 20 schools in Montmagny and area in Quebec.
