Ms. Lemieux is a visual artist with extensive experience in the field of arts and culture. In addition to her experience in gallery management, her artistic work has been exhibited in Canada and Europe and is held in corporate and private collections.

She also worked for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for many years. She produced many radio programs in her career at the CBC and she was radio assistant producer for the national French program "Le Monde à Lanvers". She won the 1999 French radio award "Meilleure création radiophonique" for this program.

Ms. Lemieux was appointed a Member of the Tribunal on April 18, 2002.
