Prepublication in the Canada Gazette, Part 1 of a proposal to amend section 70 and 71 of the Canada Business Corporations Regulations, 2001
The proposal would allow CBCA corporations who are also registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to file financial statements and auditor's reports using the U.S. generally accepted auditing principles (GAAP).

Reservation of a date for certificates issued under the Canada Business Corporations Act
Effective January 1st, 2005, requests for date reservations will be available for the issuance of certificates of incorporation, amendments, amalgamations, dissolutions, intents to dissolve, revocations of intent to dissolve, revivals, import continuances and reorganizations when submitted to Corporations Canada with the proper documentation and the required fees.
