Regulations and Standards
- Canadian Standards Association: a not-for-profit membership-based association serving business, industry, government and consumers in Canada and the global marketplace.
- Standards Council of Canada: a federal Crown corporation with the mandate to promote efficient and effective standardization.
- International Organization for Standardization (ISO): source of ISO 9000 and more than 13,000 International Standards for business, government and society.
- A primer for industry, Your window on the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act: information for industry representatives and other private sector professionals who are planning projects that may be subject to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (Act).
- Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency: promotes environmental assessment as a planning tool to protect and sustain a healthy environment and to meet the expectations of Canadians who want a growing economy in harmony with a healthy environment.
- Canadian Environmental Auditing Association (CEAA): encourages the development and the discipline of environmental auditing and the improvement of environmental management of Canadian public and private organizations through an auditor certification process and the application of environmental auditing ethics, principles and standards.
- Canadian Environmental Certification Approvals Board (CECAB): recognizes minimum standards for environmental practitioners, raising the level of skills and competencies of the sector workforce.
- Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) Environmental Registry: encourages and supports public participation in environmental decision-making, by facilitating access to documents arising from the administration of the Act.
- Canadian Institute for Environmental Law and Policy (CIELAP): provides leadership in the research and development of environmental law and policy that promotes the public interest and sustainability.
- Consolidated Statutes and Regulations - Department of Justice: sections of the Canadian Fisheries Act which are administered by Environment Canada.

- Commission for Environmental Cooperation ("CEC"): summary of Environmental Law in North America (the "summary") to improve public access to the environmental law of the three parties to the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), i.e. Canada, Mexico and the US.
- Environmental Acts and Regulations - Environment Canada: a gate way to online Canadian legislation and regulations related to the environment.
- Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program: provides validation and independent verification of environmental technology performance claims.

- Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS): promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing information and advice about occupational health and safety.
- Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA): Acts and Regulations
- Canada Forest Accord: represents a commitment to implement the 1998 Forest Strategy - a framework within which the long-term health of Canada's forests will be managed over the next five years.
- David Suzuki Foundation: website provides news releases, reports and features on various issues from around the world, including climate change, forestry, fisheries and local initiatives.

- Fisheries and Oceans Canada Acts, Orders & Regulations: provides access to the legislation you need to know about in order to use water resources safely and wisely.
- Health Canada- Environmental Health: has developed programs and resources to help maintain a safe environment for Canadians, addressing air quality, water quality, soil contamination affecting food supply, toxic management, use of pesticides and radiation-emitting devices, as well as a wide range of workplace health and safety issues.
- McGill University Environmental Safety Office: features information on laboratory safety, radiation safety, biosafety, fire safety, and workshop safety.

- Transport Canada-Environment: works to protect the environment and to achieve a more sustainable transportation system. We also address important environmental issues such as climate change.
