  • Canadian Environmental Technology Advancement Corporation (CETAC)-West: provides services to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) engaged in the development and commercialization of new environmental technologies.
  • Canadian Commercial Corporation: is a unique export sales agency, wholly owned by the Government of Canada, with a broadly legislated mandate to assist in the development of trade between Canada and other nations.
  • Energy Benchmarking: is the collection, analysis and reporting of data to provide industrial companies with a context for assessing comparative energy efficiencies. On this site you will find a variety of resources to help you monitor and benchmark your facilities per unit energy consumption so that you can compare your energy performance with that of other facilities in your industry and see how you rank.

  • Enviro-Access: a network of experts commited to the service of the environmental industry.
  • Green Building Information Council (GBIC): this Canadian non-profit organization disseminates information about energy and environmental issues in the building sector to advance the energy and environmental performance of buildings. GBIC itself is a small organization with extensive international links, and through this site it brings you a broad range of information from other sources and organizations around the world, all of which are separately identified.
  • Guide to Government of Canada Service and Support for Small Business: this guide provides an overview of federal government services and programs designed to assist small business.
  • Precarn Intelligent Systems, Thinking Technology: a national consortium of corporations, research institutes and government partners working within the intelligent systems industry. Precarn funds projects in intelligent systems R&D; and helps to bridge the innovation gap between university and government research and commercial applications.

Provincial

  • Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA): their goal is to improve the economy of Atlantic Canadian communities, through the successful development of business and job opportunities. This site has information on news, entrepreneurship, trade, innovation and technology, tourism, business management practices, and more.
  • Successful EcoAction Projects in Canada's Atlantic Region: read these environmental success stories to discover what other groups in Atlantic Canada are doing to make a difference in their communities.
  • Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD): is committed to helping Western Canadian small and medium-sized businesses grow and create jobs. Whether your business has one employee or one hundred, WD offers a network of business professionals to help you with business planning and development, accessing capital, export or trade development, selling to government markets, and providing you with information on government programs and services for which you may be eligible.

    • Business Link Business Service Centre (Alberta): is a not-for-profit organization proudly supported by the Government of Canada and the Government of Alberta, and member of the Canada Business Service Centres (CBSCs) network. The Business Link reduces the complexity of dealing with various levels of government by serving as a central resource for business information.

    New Brunswick

    • Le Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick Inc.: established in 1979, the CENB is a French Canadian association dedicated to the development of New Brunswick, through the promotion of francophone entrepreneurship and business place. With close to 1000 members, the CENB is the most important network of French Canadian business people in the Atlantic provinces.
