Ontario’s Northern Prosperity Plan includes targeted initiatives aimed at stimulating economic growth, job creation and a better quality of life for northerners. The plan is founded on four pillars: Strengthening the North and its Communities; Listening to and Serving Northerners Better; Competing Globally; and Providing Opportunities for All.

The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) is proud to be a vital component of the Northern Prosperity Plan. The aim of the NOHFC is to work with northern entrepreneurs and businesses to foster private sector job creation while supporting critical infrastructure and community development projects that build a foundation for future economic growth and enhanced quality of life.
