This site is
intended to provide information on the benefits of eco-efficiency forCanadian
businesses. It also provides information on Industry Canada's efforts to promote
productivity through eco-efficiency, and contains general information on
business and the environment.
Sustainable
Development Training
Provides managers, supervisors and
policy and program officials with an enhanced understanding of sustainable
development, associated policy challenges and related knowledge. This course was developed for Industry Canada by Dr. Glen Toner of Carleton University.
Consumers
and the Environment
The Office of Consumer Affairs at Industry Canada provides links to
papers published by industry and consumer associations. This site lists
a large number of consumer related environmental links as well as a listing
of useful text-based sources for further reading.
Canadian Environment Solutions
CES currently addresses industry sector problems related to water, air, soil,
research and development, and energy. CES contains 1,980 environmental problems,
1,920 solutions and their descriptions, along with the 872 companies that can
provide the solutions.
Computers for Schools Program
helps young Canadians gain greater access to computer
technology in a learning environment so they can acquire the computer skills to
succeed in a technology driven economy and society.
