AN ENVIRONMENT FOR LIVING
Canadore Upper Residences

Canadore has two residences, a town-house style residence located directly beside the Education Centre (College Drive Campus), and a new apartment-style residence at the bottom of College Drive. Both residences provide single rooms, allowing you to have your own space!

Residence offers much more than a place to live. Going away to school is about much more than just attending classes - it’s about meeting new people, making new friends and discovering what it’s like to live away from home. In residence, you’ll have the opportunity to meet students with a wide variety of interests, personalities and cultures. Sharing living quarters with others will expand your social experience and help you develop skills in dealing with other people.

Canadore’s town-house residence offers accommodation for 350 students and the apartment-style residence houses 146 students.

Residence Assistants

If the world of living in residence seems a little scary, there is always someone you can turn to for help. Residence Assistants are senior students who “know the ropes.” They live right in residence and are available to help you with any problems that might come up, whether they are academic or personal. If they can’t help you, they’ll refer you to someone who can.
