Holman Exhibition opens at Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum in Tromsø Norway
Tromsø, 2 May 2004. The Aboriginal Canadian exhibition Holman: Forty Years of Graphic Arts was opened on Sunday 2 May at Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum (Art Museum of Northern Norway) which is the largest and most important Art Museum in the Northern Norway. Curated by Darlene Coward Wight for the Winnipeg Art Gallery, this was the first time that the exhibition was shown outside Canada. It is likely to go to Reykjavik late summer before returning to Canada. Prior to Tromsø, it has shown in Winnipeg, Calgary and Ottawa. The Winnipeg Art Gallery houses the largest collection of contemporary Inuit art in the Western world.
