APPOINTMENT TO CANADIAN TRANSPORTATION AGENCY
OTTAWA - The Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Minister of Transport,
Infrastructure and Communities, today announced the appointment of Mr. Raymon J.
Kaduck to the Canadian Transportation Agency.
"I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kaduck," said Minister
Cannon. "With his considerable experience in the air services field, Mr. Kaduck
brings valuable knowledge and expertise to the Agency."
Mr. Raymon J. Kaduck holds a master of arts in international affairs from
Carleton University, a master of business administration from the Richard Ivey
School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, a bachelor of arts in
economics from the University of Calgary and a bachelor of arts in English from
the University of Waterloo. He currently serves as president of Aeronavigatsia
Consulting Inc. From 1997 to 1999 he was assistant director, aviation programs
with the Northwest Territories Department of Transportation. From 1982 to 1989
he was a flight service specialist with the former Air Traffic Services branch
of Transport Canada. He has assumed roles as a senior policy advisor on a number
of councils and committees, has participated on academic and industry panels,
and was a delegate to several international conferences with a focus on the
Arctic. His association memberships include the Air Transport Association of
Canada, the Air Transport Research Society, and the Canada Eurasia Russia
Business Association.
Mr. Kaduck has been appointed member of the Canadian Transportation Agency
for a period of three years.
The Canadian Transportation Agency’s mission is to administer transportation
legislation and Government of Canada policies to help achieve an efficient and
accessible transportation system by education, consultation and essential
regulation.
