Application for Certification:
La Société des auteurs, recherchistes, documentalistes et compositeurs
Tribunal File No. 95-0003-A
In accordance with section 25(3) of the Status of the Artist Act, the Canadian Artists and Producers Professional Relations Tribunal hereby gives notice that it has received an application for certification from la Société des auteurs, recherchistes, documentalistes et compositeurs (SARDeC) to represent a sector composed of:
- authors of original French language literary or dramatic works intended for radio, television, cinema or audio-visual media; and
- authors who adapt, in the form of French language scripts for radio, television, cinema or audio-visual media, literary or dramatic works originally intended for another form of public broadcast;
with respect to all producers subject to the Status of the Artist Act throughout Canada.
Any artist, artists' association or producer affected by this application wishing to make representations to the Tribunal regarding the proposed sector must notify the Tribunal in writing of their interest not later than October 20, 1995.
Any artist or artists' association affected by this application wishing to make representations to the Tribunal regarding the representativeness of the applicant must notify the Tribunal in writing of their interest not later than October 20, 1995.
Any artists' association which wishes to make a competing application for certification in respect of the same sector or any part of the same sector must file its application for certification not later than October 20, 1995.
