National Media Education Week – A Great Success!
Thank you to the media education organizations, industry groups, schools, libraries and Media Awareness Network's (MNet) partners and sponsors who participated in Canada’s first National Media Education Week. Across Canada, more than 50 events were held leading up to and during the week. The week started with a successful launch in Ottawa with the help of students from the Algonquin College Media Program and culminated with a national video conference for media educators. A special thanks to our national sponsors CHUM Television and Rethink Advertising.
